The annual awards is finally back after being away for 5 years. The awards are geared towards unsigned and indie artists based in the Uk. It’s normally held on 27th Feb but because of the arrangement of putting together the event has push it back this year. Review: I never knew what to expect at this gig but as soon as i reached the door, i knew it was going to be a great night. At this event i didn’t play my guitar i used a backing track instead performing my two original songs and a christmas song. It was different as I’m use to performing with my guitar. There was so many great talents including choirs and other acoustic acts. I met some great people & i look forward to working with them in the future.

BRIT 20 Reunion
I honered to be a part of the Brit 20 Reunion on Saturday 23rd July. I took part in the perfomance on the main stage along side Ex Brit Music students (Band – Dexter, Dominic, Jake, Alex. Vocalists – Brooke, Chris, Yasmin, Chloe, Joel, Daniel and myself). We perfomed a 30min set called ‘Tribute to Ledgends’ consiting on music from Prince, Tina Turner, MJ, Bob Marley, The Beach Boys and more. We definatley did draw a large crowd as stated. This set was inpired by the Berklee ‘Tribute to Micheal Jackson’ (which you can see via youtube).
This was a very enjoyable process for me (organisation, rehearsals and perfomance). I couldn’t have been asked to work with a better/talented bunch of people. All destined for great!

WeSingUSing – Summer Song Festival
We Sing U Sing is the Summer Gospel Music festival, featuring a mass choir of 400 children and other established act. During this event i took part in singing with my good friend Beatrice Anderson ‘Man In The Mirror – Michael Jackson’ acoustic. This performance went down very well with a great response from the audience. Overall the show was a blessing and i very much enjoyed watching the little children perform/sing.

This was a great afternoon at the Addington Court Golf Club on the 25th June 2011. It consisted of music perfomance from myself, Amarra, X-Factor Finalists (Ashley Mckenzie & Nikitta Angus) and Darnelle Eastwood. With also a community question time from members of the UKIP Party. This was a great chilled out afternoon with a nice atmosphere.

I olayed at a lovely intamite gig @ the Caffe Vergnando on the 5th May 2011. I was invited down as the Break through act supporting Emi Green and Louise Golbey. I was accompanied by Christina on Keys and Bea on BVs. I enjoyed this alot as the venue had a great sound and the audience was very encouraging (and supportive in buying my cd). In the future there will be more of these events! *Watch this space!*
Last BRIT School Performance! BEST OF..
This show i must say was one of the best shows i have been involved in at brit ..thats why its called ‘BEST OF..’. It consisted of the best songs/performances from 2010 to 2011 (Year 13 music strand). I also had the chance to perform my original song called ‘I Don’t Care’ with a band, as well as The Jackson 5 – I want You Back & The Sun Aint Gonna Shine Anymore – Walker Brothers. Great Day Spent With Great Like-minded People! 😀
Shanice @ Hendon Gallery – Success Express
Success Express was a great show. I didn’t really know what to expect at first but it all came together once i got there. Being a support/guest act for Sheynne was a great honur and i loved her music as i heard it. It was an acoustic gig with a great vibe and lovely audience. All the other acts blew me away with there music and songwriting! I hope to be doing many more of these kind of shows in the future.
